In this documentation, you will get a complete guide on how to install eRoom Free and eRoom Pro in your WordPress site.
There are two ways to install and activate this eRoom plugin in your WordPress site, which are given below:
- Install directly from the WordPress directory
- Install eRoom Pro using the plugin’s zip files
Install & Activate Free Version #
To install and activate eRoom free plugin from your WordPress directory, navigate to WordPress dashboard → Plugins → Add New Plugin option.
Afterward, type “eRoom” in the search bar to find the plugin. You will see the search results below. Now hit the “Install Now” button to install the plugin.
Once the plugin is installed in your WordPress site, you can now click the “Activate” button to activate the plugin.
Purchase & Activate eRoom Pro #
To purchase eRoom Pro, visit the eRoom pricing page, choose your preferred plan, and click the “Buy Now” button.
Afterward, enter your card details and confirm your order by clicking the “Review Order” button, then complete the payment process.
After following the steps, once the payment is successful, you will receive a pop-up notification of successful payment completion. Now your next step is to get your license key and the plugin zip file.
Get License Key and Files #
When you purchase the eRoom premium subscription, you will receive your license key and plugin files. These are important for installing or setting up the plugin and managing your billing options.
By following two ways, you can get your license key and plugin files:
- Through your registered email
- Or download from your eRoom account dashboard
Get License Key & Files Through Email #
In the email sent to you from eRoom, you will find the following:
- License key
- Installation instructions
- The download link to the plugin files
- Your temporary password
Check your “Spam” or “All Mail” folders if you did not receive the email in your inbox.
Now, to download eRoom Pro version, click the Download the plugin’s Premium version option. Your license key is displayed on a rectangular grey background, which you will use during activation.
It is also shown in the “Account Details” section just below the “Support” section.
Avail License Key & Files from Your eRoom Account #
If you did not receive an email from support@nocatwp.com, you can download the plugin files and get the license key from your eRoom account dashboard. To get your license key, you need to log in to your eRoom account.
As you did not get an email with your temporary password, click the “Never received your password?” option.
You will be redirected to enter your email address to get a password reset link.
After successfully logging in, download the plugin zip file by clicking the “Downloads” option on the left panel of your dashboard.
Click the “Download v…” button.
Immediately, you will see a pop-up notification on your screen with instructions for installing the eRoom plugin and entering your license key while the plugin file is downloading.
Access License Key Separately on Your Dashboard #
If you didn’t copy your license when downloading the plugin zip file in your dashboard, you will access it when you click the “License” option on the left panel of your dashboard.
Click on the “copy” icon beside the license key to copy it.
Install eRoom Pro #
To install eRoom Pro, you must upload the plugin’s zip file. Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin button.
Afterward, click the “Choose File” button to upload the eRoom Pro plugin file. Once the eRoom Pro plugin’s zip file is successfully uploaded, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin.
Activate eRoom Pro #
Now that you have successfully installed the plugin as shown in the image below, click the “Activate Plugin” button to activate the plugin.
After successfully activating the eRoom Pro, the plugin will be automatically shown on your “Installed Plugins” page. Just click the “Activate License” option to enter your license key.
A pop-up page will show up. Enter your license key in the box. Once you have entered your license key, check the details and click the “Activate License” button.
Immediately after your license is successfully activated, your “Account” page will display your account details, as shown below.
